Senior System Analyst – Fraud Analytics
Join Westpac as a Senior System Analyst – Fraud Analytics. You'll be a part of the Fraud Prevention team within Customer and Corporate Services at Westpac.
Role responsibilities include providing technical support and expertise for fraud analytics systems, tools, and processes. You'll focus on improving system design, efficiency, stability, and data quality, and support the development, testing, release, and monitoring of analytics, database, and web environments.
The position works closely with project, security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure strong system governance, continuous improvement, and contributes to process and policy enhancements.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working with SAS production environments.
* Proven experience supporting and managing batch analytics processes.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, effective, and reliable stakeholder engagement.
* A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable skills
* Implementing or maintaining DevOps pipelines, ideally Jenkins/Chef/Artifactory.
* Familiar with SQL, REST, APIs, GIT and Linux.
* Delivery of projects or initiatives.
* Experience with modern web development frameworks, ideally React.js.
