Topex is a rapidly growing contractor servicing the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

Responsibilities
* Positive leadership of a maintenance team, monitor and define performance expectations for maintenance personnel.
* Ensure effective resource allocation (such as people, equipment & resources) to meet maintenance work targets, budgets and schedules.
* Logistics and parts management for planned maintenance and breakdowns.
* Co-ordinating maintenance support for planned field maintenance.
* Sourcing and scheduling contractors and oversee their work as and when required.
* Monitoring and maintenance of critical spares across the fleet.
* Equipment compliance and supporting paperwork.
* Liaison with Supply to ensure that all parts are available for all planned activities, prior to the commencement of the activity, resulting in improved inventory management.
* Working in tandem with our current Maintenance Leader to ensure the setting and maintaining of clear expectations. You will ensure that all field personnel deliver exceptional results to our valued clients using best practice, safety management systems and compliance platforms.
Qualifications
* Previous management experience in a blue-collar industry - mining services/contractor/construction and/or earthworks.
* Proven experience in leadership, coaching and mentoring. The successful applicant will have a management style that encourages personnel to achieve their goals safely and productively.
* You will enjoy problem-solving and thinking laterally. Anticipate problems and take initiative to implement the action required to achieve goals.
* Be a team player with a gift for sharing information, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly.
* Demonstrated ability to involve others in the decision-making process when making plans that will affect them.
