Telehealth Doctor (Contract) // $175/hr +GST guaranteed
Salary $175 p/h + GST
Flexible hours; can start at 3-4 hours/week with opportunity to increase (fully remote)
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Telehealth Doctor to join our clinical team on a contract basis. Simple Online Doctor is an Australian-based digital healthcare service providing safe, convenient online consultations for a range of conditions, including erectile dysfunction, hair loss, weight management (including GLP-1 therapies), and contraceptive care.
About the Role:
This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients via phone and video consultations. The position is ideal for a clinician seeking flexible, part-time hours within standard business times. Preferred days: Monday to Wednesday 8am-4pm. Additional opportunity to cover after-hours and weekends.
* 100% Remote work with flexible hours to fit your schedule
* Review and assess health questionnaires and pre-screening information
* Prescribe medications in accordance with AHPRA telehealth guidelines (after real-time telehealth call)
* Escalate or refer patients to other healthcare professionals or services when clinically indicated
* Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance, privacy, and data security standards
* Deliver care that is patient-centred, culturally safe, and evidence-based
* Supportive team with direct access to managers, other clinicians, pharmacists, and patient care team
Required Qualifications and Registration:
* Right to work within Australia
* Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
* Appropriate medical indemnity insurance to cover telehealth consultations
Experience and Skills:
* Previous experience in telehealth settings and/or general practice settings
* Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
* Competence with digital health systems and electronic medical records Technology Requirements
* Registration within New Zealand is advantageous
