Due to increased business demands, we are looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator to join our Housekeeping team. This is your opportunity to foster a career in hospitality within a reputable housekeeping group and be part of a hardworking and innovative team. The ideal candidate must be committed to being part of a team dedicated to providing quality customer service and continually looks for ways to exceed our clients guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Responsible for daily signing in and out of all worksheets and all keys to associates
* Control rooms cleaning flow and return
* Allocation of work to Housekeeping Attendants, AM and PM.
* Ensure that all guest requests are logged correctly at all times and dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner.
* Ensure that any complaints are dealt with in a professional manner. Take immediate corrective action and ensure that all complaints are passed onto a supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
* Communicate daily with Front Office, Engineering and related departments for all requirements. Ensure that prior work is carried out.
* Responsible for reporting all maintenance to the Engineering Department through work orders on the computer system
* Responsible for managing Lost and Found.
* Communicate daily with staff members and supervisors information, which is designated from the Housekeeping office.

What we need from you

* A minimum 2 years proven experience as a housekeeping coordinator/ Supervisor experience in a busy hotel.
* Be flexible to work various shift times, including AM, Mid and PM shifts.
* Proven experience working with Opera PMS and preferably experience with Hotsos or Knowcross
* Flexibility with the ability to step up as a floor supervisor
* Proven time management skills and the ability to quickly identify issues and find solutions
* A can do attitude
* Professional approach
* Leadership qualities
