This is a pivotal role in the Terminals and Logistics sector, serving as the primary financial and contractual authority for DP World's technology operations. This role blends financial acumen, contract management, and process improvement to optimize resource allocation and ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements and contractual commitments.
A strong understanding of accounting principles is essential, especially in managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets and performing month-end financial tasks like variance analysis and reporting. In addition to financial oversight, the Senior Manager is responsible for managing vendor agreements, licensing deals, and service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring these align with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and report on the allocation of the IT budget, ensuring all IT expenditures remain within budgetary limits.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors, fostering strong working relationships to ensure seamless collaboration.
* Oversee the management of technology contracts, including vendor agreements, licensing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
* Identify opportunities for cost savings through resource consolidation and system optimization.
* Maintain accurate and organized records of contractor agreements and SLAs.
* Track key milestones, including renewal and expiration dates, to ensure timely renegotiation.
* Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to resolve contractual issues or disputes.
* Manage and process invoices, purchase orders (POs), and vendor payments with accuracy and compliance.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for potential cost optimization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in technology finance, contract management, or a similar role.
* Proven experience in managing OPEX/CAPEX budgets.
* Expertise in telecommunications billing processes and vendor management.
* Strong knowledge of licensing agreements and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in financial tools and ERP systems.
* Familiarity with financial software, contract management tools, and telecommunications systems.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
