We are looking for a range of experienced Bar Supervisor to join and support our team at The Alby in a Full time capacity.
Our Story
The Alby is located on the ground floor of the Albemarle building, Woden. The gastropub comprises of dining areas, multiple bars, Chef’s table for private dining, beer garden, games basement with bar and food offering, Duckpin bowling, pinball and pool tables. The venue provides a range of menus from breakfast, all-day dining, takeaway, functions, set lunch/dinners for groups and cocktail parties. Designed by Capezio Copeland and developed by DOMA.

About the Role:
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Supervisor/ Manager in a bar
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster (including weekends & public holidays)
* A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
* A valid 'Do Food Safely' Certificate
* Knowledge and skills at a level adequate to train their staff
* Advanced time management skills and ability to managing other competing priorities
* Motivation to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues through effective communication
* Leadership and mentoring capabilities to continue on building on our inclusive and supportive team
* Excellent personal presentation and presence
* Willingness and ability to exceed expectations
* A passion for food, and beverage in a hospitality environment

* Flexibility in your roster availability, to work varied hours as required, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
* A positive, genuine and team-focused attitude with ability to work independently
* Great attention to detail
* A high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
