About the Opportunity
We're seeking a talented and highly creative Video Editor to join the VRC Media Production team. In this role, you'll craft high‑quality, engaging video content across VRC‑owned channels, partner platforms, and broadcast environments—bringing our brand, stories and events to life for diverse audiences.
Working closely with the Creative Lead, videographers, and a wider network of internal and external stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping editorial and promotional video content that supports brand objectives, enhances audience engagement, and elevates production standards.
Responsibilities
* Edit short and long form video content tailored for VRC channels, partner platforms, broadcast, and social media.
* Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead, Head of Media, videographers, and fellow editors to deliver high‑impact content.
* Partner with Media Production, Marketing, Events and Social Media teams to support campaigns, live events, and key initiatives.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality.
* Stay across emerging video trends—particularly in social media—and proactively experiment with new styles, formats and techniques.
* Contribute creative concepts and technical expertise alongside internal teams and external contractors.
* Ensure all outputs adhere to VRC brand guidelines, technical requirements, and production timelines.
What your background includes
* Minimum three years' experience as a video editor in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
* Strong capability in using SFX and VFX to enhance storytelling and production quality.
* Experience in animation or motion graphics (preferred).
* A solid understanding of social media trends, digital platforms and contemporary pop culture.
* Proven experience editing content within sport, food, fashion or live event environments.
* The ability to create compelling, emotionally engaging video content in both short‑ and long‑form formats.
* Flexibility to adapt editing styles for broadcast, social, web and internal communications.
* A strong grasp of end‑to‑end video production workflows and an exceptional eye for detail.
* Confidence working in high‑pressure, event‑based production environments.
