Join our new Youth Disability Support Services in Inala and Calamvale, designed to empower young people as they transition to adulthood. In this rewarding Permanent Part Time position, you'll support individuals in building essential life skills, boosting their confidence, and strengthening community connections. You'll also assist with personal care, medications, medical appointments, emotional and behavioural support, and everyday living needs.

What you can bring to the team
* Your experience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills will be invaluable in providing high-quality support for our youth as they transition into adult hood.
* Minimum Certificate 4 (or studying) in a related discipline with preference given to Youth Work and human services qualifications.
* Previous experience as a Youth Worker within a disability context with demonstrated experience of trauma informed care will be highly regarded.
* Proficient computer skills and experience using Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS2), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
Availability
To be considered for this role you must be able to work a minimum of 2 sleepovers per week and have availability to work across the following shifts over a 7-day roster, including weekends:
* Mornings: 6:30am – 9:00am
* Mornings: 7:00am- 2:00pm
* Afternoons: 2:30pm – 5:00pm
* Afternoons: 2:30pm – 9:00pm
* Evenings: 2:00pm – 9:00pm
* Overnight: 5:00pm – 9:00am

As a Youth Disability Worker with #teampossible, you will support young people engaged with the child protection system who have disabilities, in 24/7 Supported Independent Living. Balancing youth work and disability care, you will create a safe, empowering environment to help them reach their goals. Guided by the Case Manager, you will provide person-centred, trauma-informed care, meet daily needs, and foster emotional, social, and cultural wellbeing. You will assist with appointments, family visits, community connections, education, and life skills, promoting independence as they transition to adulthood.
