The Moreland Ward is a specialist ward that focuses on orthopaedics, neurosurgery and plastic surgery. We pride ourselves on providing state-of-the-art surgical, medical, cancer, coronary and intensive care services.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver safe, research-based standards of nursing care.
* Provide complex and multidisciplinary care.
* Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.
* Act as a role model for safe practice.
* Deliver education and support to individuals patients for the management of their health recovery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting, ideally in a surgical ward.
* Orthopaedic and neurosurgical nursing highly regarded.
* Commitment to quality patient care.
* Works independently and within a team.
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
