We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Part-Time Executive Housekeeper to assist in maintaining a private residence to an exceptional standard.
This role supports two very busy principals with two dogs and no children. This couple travel regularly and need a candidate that is highly organised and a great communicator. This role would be best suited to someone who takes genuine pride in creating a consistently tidy, calm and well-run home environment.
The successful candidate will be confident managing housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe organisation, as well as household errands such as post, groceries and dry cleaning, have a great eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy and able to work independently with the utmost discretion. The household is friendly, relaxed and respectful, and this is a lovely opportunity for someone seeking stable part-time work in a private home.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Full housekeeping to a high standard across all areas of the home
* Maintaining a consistently tidy, organised and well-presented household
* Laundry management including washing and ironing and care for fine fabrics
* Packing and unpacking suitcases
* Wardrobe management and organisation
* Changing and laundering bed linen and towels
* Dropping off and collecting dry cleaning
* Household errands such as post and groceries
* Light assistance with the two dogs if needed
Candidate Requirements
* Previous housekeeping experience within a private home (2+ years preferred)
* Strong laundry knowledge and confidence with wardrobe organisation
* Highly organised, efficient, proactive and able to work independently
* Discreet, trustworthy and respectful of privacy at all times
* Reliable, personable and professional in presentation
* Must have own ABN
* Police check and WWCC required
* Excellent references
Job Conditions
* 3 days per week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday
* Start time: 7:00am or 7:30am
* 5 to 6 hours per day (approximately 15 to 18 hours per week)
* Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate
* Excellent hourly rate - (ABN required)
