Front Desk Associate Job Description
The Front Desk Associate is a key team member, responsible for daily operations and providing exceptional guest service. To have knowledge of hotel facilities, values, and ethos, confidently sell, manage, and embody these values.
Main Responsibilities:
* Representing the hotel as an honest, reliable, and professional host.
* Ensuring a positive working environment within the Front Desk for efficiency and seamless handover between shifts.
* Recording guest feedback/preference in guest profile, coordinating room status updates with housekeeping, and maintaining cleanliness and restock of the front desk area.
* Delivering superior customer service with high attention to detail and following all safety, emergency, and security procedures.
* Ensuring confidentiality, respect of privacy, and security of all guest rooms and reporting to work in required uniform and adherence with the Hotel's Dress Code Policy.
* Developing strong knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services, reservations department, and surrounding community.
* Confidently liaising with guests, handling requests, receiving guest feedback and complaints, and taking initiative to problem-solve while working independently.
Key Requirements:
* Possessing a working knowledge of the reservations department, dining room, and spa reservation systems.
* Ability to work flexible hours, maintain appearance of the front of house and reception area, and commit to quality in all tasks.
