You Will Be
* Truck Loading and Unloading: Safely handle pipe deliveries with accuracy and care.
* Customer Service: Support customer collections and perform stock checks.
* Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Keep trucks, utes, and forklifts in top condition.
* Safety Checks: Conduct pre-start inspections, report issues, and follow safety protocols.
* Stock Handling: Assist with moving, organizing, and repurposing materials.
* Yard Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness through regular housekeeping and waste disposal.
* Material Preparation: Locate and prepare pipes and other items as requested.
* Team Coordination: Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication between teams.
* Product Flow: Work closely with the team to maintain efficient yard operations.
Who You Are
* Minimum 2 years' experience (recent) in a similar yard hand role - handling heavy ugly freight
* Current forklift licence (LF class minimum)
* Valid HR License is a plus
* A team player with a strong work ethic, and attention to detail
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions
* A commitment to safety and following procedures
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
