A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Group / State Financial Controller to join a large automotive group based in Brisbane.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing the financial operations of multiple, high-performing, high-volume dealerships. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, compliance, reporting accuracy and operational profitability across the group.
We are seeking a proven automotive finance leader currently operating at senior dealership or group level. You will be confident managing large teams, partnering with Dealer Principals and senior executives, and providing clear commercial insight to support business growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
* Managing budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
* Ensuring statutory compliance and governance standards
* Overseeing internal controls and risk management frameworks
* Driving process improvement and financial efficiencies
To be considered, you must:
* Hold current CA or CPA qualifications
* Have extensive senior-level dealership experience
* Demonstrate strong commercial acumen within a retail automotive environment
* Possess exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
