Overview
We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise in Term 1 of the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note:
This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character-limited responses addressing only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

Tambrey Primary School (PS)
is an Independent Public School, centrally located in the City of Karratha, 1600km north-west of Perth. The Pilbara region offers diverse cultural and environmental experiences. The School
Tambrey PS is a safe, supportive and vibrant environment that empowers students to realise their potential. The Role
We are looking for Teachers who can commence at Tambrey PS in Term 1, 2026. In collaboration with the Principal and Executive Team, suitable applicants will contribute to the implementation of the school's business plan and the long-term vision. Suitable applicants will deliver high-quality educational experiences that meet the needs of a diverse student body by implementing the WA Curriculum and Assessment Outline, along with ELF in kindergarten.
Applicants should be prepared to join a professional learning community with a growth mindset and be open to instructional coaching and mentoring to maximise student outcomes. They should analyse student performance data and apply evidence-based differentiated practices. An understanding of high-impact educational strategies and the ability to influence, facilitate and lead change to improve outcomes is desirable, as is the ability to adopt whole-school programs.
We value applicants with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to promote the school's values and priorities. You will build positive relationships with students and be passionate about creating positive futures. We seek performance-driven individuals who use evidence-based decision-making in a collaborative team.
Experience delivering high-quality programs and deep curriculum knowledge with a focus on explicit instruction and a response-to-intervention model is preferred. A thorough understanding of Cultural Responsiveness and English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) processes is an advantage. Positive relationship building is highly regarded.

Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
