**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, Harvey Beef are looking for an experienced and capable person to lead our Stores Team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- leading, motivating, and developing the team
- ordering, receipt, storage & timely supply of all items (non-meat)
- continuously improve day to day processes
- develop and maintain work instructions for all processes and functions
- ensure ongoing cyclic counts & periodic stocktakes are completed
- investigate and reduce inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies.
- ensure correct processes are followed in purchasing, receipt, storage and distribution
- regular reporting as required
- liaise with all key stake holders
**Person we are looking for**:
- experienced team leader
- background that can handle the day-to-day challenges of purchasing, inventory, and warehouse management.
- will roll the sleeves up and lead by example.
- ability to drill down on issues and problem-solve.
- organised, good at multi-tasking and handling priorities.
- flexible by nature for handling the busy day to day.
- good sense of humour
- physically fit
**Qualifications**
- Drivers License
- Forklift Ticket
- Chemical Handling experience
- LR Licence desirable
- First Aid desirable
- Formal qualifications in Logistic and/or Warehouse Supervision or equivalent experience
