Make a positive impact on health in remote First Nations communities across Arnhem Land. As the Community Store Dietician working in ALPA owned or managed supermarket retail stores. You will be working alongside a great team to improve and enhance the food environment for our customers with our Board sanctioned Nutrition Policy. The Nutrition Team at ALPA is dedicated, proactive and has a strong impact with recognised outcomes across the business and with both our stakeholders.

Join us in creating healthier outcomes through educating and supporting some of our most isolated people through internationally recognised programs & projects in our remote supermarket stores. You truly will make a difference to the lives of some of Australia's most nutritionally compromised people.

Please note: This position requires the employee to live in Galiwin'ku and provide services to other communities in East Arnhem Land. Travel may also be required to other stores managed by ALPA in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Required travel is up to 12 days per month from Galiwin'ku. Travel for the majority is via small plane.

About You

* Hold a tertiary degree in nutrition and dietetics, eligible for Accredited Practicing Dietitian status.
* Understanding of social determinants of health affecting Aboriginal communities.
* Ability to work collaboratively and resolve conflicts.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills adaptable to diverse needs.
* Capacity to live and work in a remote community.
* NT driver's license or ability to obtain one.
