Responsibilities
* Managing the Technology Operations team.
* Ensuring Council's infrastructure and network is fit‑for‑purpose.
* Strategically future‑focused delivery of services.
* Leading the operational technology function and effectively managing areas that require input from both internal teams and external managed service providers.
* Providing technical expertise with a thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems and cloud computing.
* Leading and motivating a team of IT professionals to meet operational and project goals.
* Managing the IT Helpdesk or Service Desk to ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, senior management and other key stakeholders.
* Financial oversight and management of budgets, forecasts, contracts and vendor relationships.
* Overseeing multiple IT‑related projects.
Qualifications
* NSW Driver's Licence.
* Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts or related fields.
* ITIL Practitioner or Foundations certifications.
* Certificate IV in Frontline and/or Project Management (desirable).
* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Windows (desirable).
Salary
Grade 20 – $118,977.58 – $128,745.41 per annum plus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35‑hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
It should be noted that an employee salary contribution is required for this motor vehicle.
