About the Opportunity Permanent position!
Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking permanent Wirtgen Stabiliser operator /Construction Worker. If you have a high standard of operating skills on a wirtgen stabiliser. we would like to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to join a professional team and work in a job that suits an outdoor lifestyle. This position will work at various locations throughout the Shire. During the roads construction season, these positions will involve working a ten days on/four days off roster, camping out at remote work-sites in Council provided accommodation. The roads construction season goes from April to approximately Mid December each year. For the remainder of the year, the positions will be based out of Council's Normanton Depot.
Your application will be judged against the following criteria:
* Construction Industry Safety Card (White/Blue Card);
* Current \"HR\" Driver's Licence; and
* Be able to demonstrate competency operating a Wirtgen Stabiliser.
* Experience in civil works construction and maintenance
