Job description
HR Partners is representing a reputable logistics business in Western Sydney for a Work Health & Safety Business Partner. This role is instrumental in ensuring the site maintains a strong commitment to continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental culture, standards, systems and processes.
With site leadership you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Setting, implementing and monitoring safety, health and environment improvement plans and agreed initiatives,
* Injury management
* Early intervention programs to support those team members injured at work
* Workers compensation case management
Requirements for the role include:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in implementing safety programs in Logistics and or blue collar environments
* Formal diploma or above education in Occupational (Work) Health and Safety depending on the state employed
* Behaviour based safety programs
* Significant experience in workplace-based rehabilitation and return to work injury management
* Incident Investigation including root cause analysis
* Sound problem solving and analytical reasoning; able to manage uncertainty, risk and complexity with courage and proactive responsibility
