The Role

You'll lead the consumer experience from vision to execution - owning the strategy and roadmap for how people experience LawConnect, from that first uncertain search through to genuinely understanding their situation and taking the right next step.

Working across a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data specialists, you'll shape the full consumer journey: how we help people make sense of their legal problem, build enough confidence to act, and stay engaged through the process. You'll drive discovery, run experimentation, and ship improvements that move meaningful consumer metrics.

You will own and drive

* Consumer experience strategy - defining the vision for how people experience a legal moment and identifying the highest-leverage points to help them move forward with clarity and confidence.
* Discovery and research - interviews, usability testing, and behavioural analysis to deeply understand what prevents people from getting legal help.
* AI-powered product experiences - leveraging AI tools and emerging capabilities to create smarter, more personalised ways for people to understand their situation and navigate their options.
* Funnel optimisation and growth - experimenting across onboarding, job submission, matching quality, and consumer follow-through to drive conversion and engagement.
* Trust and confidence - the signals and design decisions that help people feel certain they're in the right place and taking the right next step.
* Cross-functional execution - partnering with engineering, design, data, and commercial to plan, deliver, and learn from what gets shipped.
What You'll Bring
* 8–12+ years in product roles, with significant time owning consumer-facing products end-to-end and leading product direction.
* Strong product sense and analytical depth - comfortable in funnels, cohort data, and behavioural metrics, with a track record of optimising core funnels and driving measurable growth.
* Technical understanding - ability to collaborate effectively with and drive a technical engineering team, translating complex problems into clear product requirements.
* Fluency in AI tools, trends, and how emerging technology enables better product experiences. You stay close to what's possible and can identify where AI creates step-change improvements.
* Strong discovery practice - user interviews, usability testing, hypothesis testing — and the rigour to instrument and learn from what you ship.
* Experience in high-consideration consumer categories where trust and clarity are critical to conversion (legal, health, financial services, or similar).
* Comfort with ambiguity and pace. You move fast, adapt readily, and don't need a playbook.
