Warehouse Storeman Position Overview
The Warehouse Storeman is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. Key responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Verify and inspect all incoming inventory against documentation to ensure accuracy
* Maintain organized storage areas and follow proper handling procedures for materials
* Record and update all inventory transactions in the system to reflect current stock levels
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy
* Document daily records of inbound and outbound materials
* Ensure adherence to warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness standards
* Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and effectively
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in ORACLE system and Microsoft office applications
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
