DFS Traffic Management are looking for Traffic Controllers (BWTM+TC / WTM) based at our MANDURAH Depot to support Southern contracts.
What you'll be responsible for
Working on secure long term contracts, performing all tasks associated with traffic management for works and/or events
Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans
Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
Report on site hazards and near misses
Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect workers, work crews and members of the public
What you'll need to be successful
Main Roads WA Certification
Experience working as a Traffic Controller; Crew Leader experience desirable
Construction White Card
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective Communication
Punctuality and reliability
Ability to pass fitness for work testing including drug & alcohol if required
PPE and company branded shirt provided
Fortnightly pay cycle with competitive hourly rate
