Senior Project Manager, Building - Client Rep
We're partnering with a high-profile infrastructure asset owner delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of works in a complex live operational environment. We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join this high-performing client-side team shaping the future of this precinct.
The Opportunity
You'll join a team delivering a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure upgrades from early concept through to construction delivery in a fast paced, state-of-the-art transport hub.
This role will suit an experienced Building Construction professional with demonstrated experience leading Major Projects who can thrive in complex environments, manage multiple stakeholders with aplomb and enjoy seeing projects through the full lifecycle. Your commercial acumen, expert planning and team leadership will ensure your success steering this career shaping project to a positive conclusion.
Candidates must demonstrate experience managing major projects with values between $50M-$250M.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead end-to-end delivery of a major, complex building construction project
* Manage stakeholders across operations, technical teams, and external partners
* Oversee cost, program, risk, procurement, and quality outcomes
* Act as Principal's Representative overseeing the work of reputable Construction Contractors
* Contribute to delivery strategies that optimise time, cost, and quality
* Navigate delivery within a live operational environment with minimal disruption
Project Snapshot
Your project will include a blend of scopes such as:
* Customer-facing facility upgrades and process improvements
* Security, compliance and access enhancements
* Retail and hospitality expansion and refurbishments
* Material handling, logistics and integrated transport upgrades
* Supporting infrastructure and services relocations
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years' experience in project management within building construction
* Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
* Experience delivering projects in live/operational settings
* Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience
* Experience working client-side or with Tier 1 contractors
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or similar
* Leadership capability and experience managing or mentoring project teams will be highly regarded.
