GIS & Environmental Data Specialist Job Description
The GIS and Environmental Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing technical environmental operational support to the organization.
The key duties of this position include:
* Supporting the development and maintenance of the Sustainability Framework;
* Assisting site environmental management teams with environmental monitoring, reporting, compliance, and mapping;
* Implementing Environmental Governance, Risk, and Compliance programs;
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance at all times;
* Drafting and reviewing environmental compliance documentation;
* Supporting the development and delivery of corporate reporting requirements for environment, rehabilitation, and sustainability.
This is a permanent role working from our Brisbane office, offering flexible work policies including hybrid office/home working arrangements and half-day Friday.
