Overview Aurec is recruiting on behalf of a leading, large-scale organisation to source two high-impact, 12-month Cyber Security Project Managers. This client operates within a highly regulated industry and the roles are essential to delivering critical compliance and foundational security programs starting in early 2026. We are seeking expert PMs with specific, proven experience in Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) and data protection compliance for these crucial programs. Cyber Security PM - Zero Trust Program Key Focus Lead a set of projects delivering major changes to Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) across the client's Digital applications as a core component of their Zero Trust security architecture. Requirements & Details Duration: 12-month contract Essential Experience: Proven project leadership specifically delivering changes and implementations of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) systems and projects is a non-negotiable must. Highly Desirable: Previous project experience within the Utilities or highly regulated industry sector. Cyber Security PM - Privacy Information Management (PIM) Key Focus Lead a set of high-priority projects already underway focused on delivering the client's obligations related to government data protection legislation. This program covers personal data management, Operational Technology (OT) Asset Security, and Detect & Protect uplift initiatives. Requirements & Details Duration: 12-month contract Essential Experience: Demonstrable project experience managing and delivering compliance initiatives against major data protection legislation (e.g., Privacy Acts, GDPR, etc.) is a must. Highly Desirable: Previous project experience within the Utilities. What We Are Looking For Both successful candidates must demonstrate: Multiple years of experience as a dedicated Project Manager within the Cyber Security domain.
