IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE - PT/FT physiotherapy / podiatry reception
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at DR7 PHYSIOTHERAPY AND PODIATRY in Yokine, WA. In this part-time/full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients, both in-person and over the phone, with a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating patient flow
* Handling patient inquiries, booking procedures, and addressing any concerns in a timely and efficient manner
* Maintaining and updating patient databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information
* Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as required
* Providing general support to the physiotherapy and podiatry team as needed
What we're looking for
* Preferred but not essential, we would like candidates with previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues in a friendly and empathetic manner
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficient in using medical software and electronic patient management systems (PPMP)
* A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment with multidisciplinary allied health practitioners
