6 months contract - with potential extension / Brisbane OR Sydney - Hybrid
An opportunity is available for an experienced
Technical Business Analyst
to join a large, complex, and highly regulated organisation, supporting the delivery of business and technology initiatives across enterprise platforms.
This role is suited to a BA who can operate comfortably between business and technical teams-translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements while ensuring alignment with architecture, governance, and delivery standards.
About the Role
* Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to understand requirements and technical constraints
* Analyse and document
functional and non-functional requirements
, data flows, system interfaces, and process impacts
* Support current-state and future-state analysis across business processes, systems, and integrations
* Produce high-quality artefacts such as requirements specifications, process maps, data mappings, and solution impact assessments
* Ensure requirements are traceable through design, build, and delivery
* Support change and delivery initiatives within established governance frameworks
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a
Technical Business Analyst
in complex enterprise environments
* Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology
* Experience working with system integrations, data flows, and enterprise platforms
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
* Comfortable working within structured delivery, risk, and governance frameworks
Desirable
* Experience in
financial services or other regulated industries
* Exposure to large-scale transformation, platform modernisation, or optimisation initiatives
* Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
