You’ll work with a wide range of conditions — from developmental delays and neurological conditions to musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory challenges.You will support long-term development through techniques like:Functional movement and motor learningPostural and gait analysisHydrotherapy and water-based interventionRespiratory and postural managementEquipment prescription and mobility trainingYou’ll work independently and collaboratively, across clinic, home, school, and community settings — building capacity in families, educators, and support networks.What You'll DoConduct functional, neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and mobility assessmentsDevelop and implement tailored physiotherapy plansEmpower families and carers through coaching and hands-on supportPrescribe and manage assistive equipment (training and support provided)Deliver hydrotherapy (if trained — support offered to upskill)Collaborate with schools, GPs, support coordinators and other allied health team membersProvide clear, trauma-informed reports, progress notes and NDIS reviewsHelp shape local access to paediatric physiotherapy through community involvement and advocacyAbout YouYou’re a Physiotherapist who:Is passionate about supporting children and young people with complex needsValues holistic, person- and family-centred careHas a strong interest or experience in neuro, disability, and paediatric developmentThrives in diverse settings – from homes to schools to the red centre of AustraliaCommunicates confidently and builds trust with families, educators, and team membersIs excited to live and work in a vibrant regional communityValues both autonomy and team connectionWhat You’ll NeedDegree in Physiotherapy & current AHPRA registrationCPR/First Aid certificationNT Ochre Card (WWCC) + National Police CheckDriver’s licenceDesirable (but not essential):Experience with NDIS clients or in remote/rural communitiesHydrotherapy or assistive technology experienceFamiliarity with Cerebral Palsy, ASD, FASD, and complex physical disabilitiesWhat We OfferAbove award salary + retention bonus - $5,000 retention bonusat 2 years + annual loyalty bonuses afterRelocation grant up to $7,000via NT PHN$10,000 scholarshipthrough the Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP)Flexibility, autonomy, and genuine work-life balanceSupportive team check-ins, mentoring, and supervisionFree Access to our clinic gym, Reformer Pilates studio and fully equipped kitchen including espresso coffee machineA workplace culture built on care, celebration, and collaborationThe chance to live and work in one of Australia’s most beautiful, culturally rich regionsReady to Apply?We’d love to hear from you!
