* Job Description:
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for delivering and coordinating a range of core undergraduate courses, including Astronomy I, Physics III, Atmospheric & Astrophysics III, and Classical Physics II. They should hold a PhD in physics, astrophysics, or a related field, and demonstrate a strong record of research excellence, proven experience in tertiary-level teaching, and the capacity to attract external research funding and supervise postgraduate students.

1. Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal attributes, effective organisational and management abilities, and advanced analytical and computational skills, including demonstrated proficiency in both numerical and symbolic calculations.

A PhD in high-energy astrophysics, or equivalent higher degree, in an area that aligns with or augments existing and emerging strengths in high-energy astrophysics at The University of Adelaide.
