Job Description:
The role involves working as a strategic HR advisor, providing guidance to senior management on various human resource matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative approaches to drive organizational success.
The Senior HR Business Partner will provide expert advice and consultancy services to senior executives and managers of designated business units/directorates on a wide range of complex HR management issues. This includes advising on legislative and policy requirements, classification management, performance management, disciplinary processes, investigations, projects, report writing and strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in providing HR advisory and consultancy services across a range of matters, including emerging trends and legislative compliance. They will also have high level verbal and written communication skills, consulting, negotiation and conflict resolution skills that enable effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide client-focused expert advice and consultancy services to senior executives and managers
* Develop and implement innovative HR projects, policies, procedures and systems
* Manage, mentor, coach and guide team members and business groups on HR matters
Requirements:
* Significant experience in generalist HR functions, including classification management, performance management and disciplinary processes
* Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction within a team environment, exercise initiative and judgement in setting priorities to achieve objectives
* High level discipline knowledge and competence related to human resource principles and practices
