About The Role
We are seeking a Business Services Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of our Canberra office. You'll play a key hands-on role in supporting our partners and legal and shared services teams, ensuring our office runs smoothly and our clients receive the highest level of service.
This pivotal role ensures efficiency, quality standards, and outstanding client experiences across our office.
What You'll Do
* Manage and lead general office operations, including reception and front-of-house services.
* Act as a key point of contact for building incidents, office projects and changes.
* Oversee document handling, court lodgements, deliveries, and courier arrangements.
* Maintain office and kitchen supplies, coordinate travel bookings, and manage expense approvals.
* Coordinate internal and external events ensuring seamless planning and catering.
* Manage food and beverage services for meetings and functions, including dietary requirements and costings.
* Update organisational charts, floor plans, and emergency contact documents.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised individual who has:
* Previous experience in office management and/or business services roles within a professional services environment.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a practical, solutions focussed mindset.
* Confident working across stakeholders at all levels.
As this role involves in person collaboration and onsite responsibilities, office attendance is essential.
