About The Opportunity As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process and ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Execute production plans to ensure efficient runs with minimal downtime, meeting targets and deadlines Liaise with Maintenance and Quality departments to monitor and address production-related performance and issues Manage and organise the entire production team, supervising, developing, and motivating staff, and ensuring effective team communication with a focus on efficiency, quality, and turnaround times Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and other industry regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment Assist with production trials and execution Assist with GMP, housekeeping, and audits About You The successful candidate will have: Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry Relevant Trade, Diploma, or Tertiary Qualification in a related field Extensive, hands-on experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) production A strong understanding of manufacturing processes In-depth knowledge of Food Safety, Quality Standards, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations Practical experience with machinery and maintenance (highly regarded) You will also have: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results, with a proactive and action-oriented approach A stable employment history with a proven track record of successfully managing and motivating diverse teams Strong commitment to service excellence, with a focus on following procedures and adhering to industry standards What's in it for You?
