Temporary Full Time (Flexible) - Monday 13 April 2026 to Monday 27 July 2026 (inclusive)

Band 8 - $125,815.32 - $140,985.85 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

About The Role

The City of Yarra is seeking a temporary Community Infrastructure Planner to implement Council's Community Infrastructure Plan and associated work, including the early stages of reviewing the Yarra Development Contributions Plan. The role will also contribute to developing and delivering a broad range of community planning projects across the Council.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a forward-thinking mindset, a comprehensive understanding of community development, social issues, and a strong commitment to promoting access and equity. The candidate should also demonstrate a genuine passion for improving the lives of our diverse community of over 92,000 residents.

The role sits in the City Strategy Branch within the City Sustainability and Strategy Division.
