Capstone Recruitment has been engaged by **Neuroscience Research Australia** (NeuRA) to recruit the Team Leader Workshop position for their world class medical research institute, based in Randwick. You will report to the Facilities & Engineering & Services Manager who is responsible for the built environment including workshop facilities.

**Team Leader Workshop**
NeuRA's state-of-the-art workshop facilities provide bespoke solutions and equipment for their research staff and medical experts. In this critical role, you will be providing support and advice to the Mechanical & Electronics Workshop Technicians, as well as working hands on when required. You will enjoy the diversity of responsibilities, opportunity to innovate and make improvements, and assist with projects.
Duties include;
- Directing Technicians and allocating resources to projects,
- Working hands-on in the workshop
- Liaising with stakeholders & assessing viability of requests
- Assisting your Manager regarding physical relocation requirements.
**Your Background**
Relevant technical background and qualifications for high tech workshop environments is expected. A flexible attitude towards being hands on as well as coordinating and advising is important as this is a multi-faceted role. Experience ideally in Medical or Biomedical Research, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, University, or other high-technology environments are most desirable.
You will have Mechanical or Electrics qualifications or trade certificate, and demonstrated capabilities in
- delivering innovative solutions for technical challenges,
- managing and supporting your team,
- ensuring service delivery & customer service excellence.

Remuneration is negotiable up to $100,000 Package, depending on your qualifications, experience and capabilities. (Not for Profit status will increase your take home pay).
