The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Project Officer to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security.

Technology Solutions and Data Security focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
**About the Role**
The role of a Project Officer is to:
Prepare and review project documentation including reports, plans, budgets and briefing materials for senior management and stakeholders.
Coordinate delivery of ICT equipment and services to support project objectives, including participation in technology set-up and support activities.
Organise, participate in, and facilitate project meetings, provide secretariat support for complex/contractual meetings and follow up of action items.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Knowledge of the principles and processes of project and contract management, project lifecycle stages and project management software.
- Experience in the delivery of Software Development products within iterative agile and SCRUM project management methodology.
- JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheet experience within public sector will be highly regarded.
**Qualifications**
- Relevant project management and/or ICT technical qualifications are desirable.
- A Victorian driver's licence is desirable, as travel to Corrections sites across Victoria is occasionally required.
