About the Role
About the Role
Join CALHN as a Senior Allied Health Assistant and support the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. You'll manage care linkages, build strong consumer connections, and maintain smooth service delivery across a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
Duties
* Support patient care and rehabilitation activities
* Coordinate with medical, nursing and allied health teams
* Assist with discharge planning and follow-up care
* Liaise with families, carers and community services
* Contribute to quality improvement and service efficiency
About You
You are a skilled and empathetic Allied Health Assistant ready to support patients with brain injury and contribute to a collaborative rehabilitation team.
* Hold Allied Health Assistance Certificate Level 4 or equivalent
* Communicate effectively with patients, families and clinical teams
* Support culturally diverse communities with sensitivity and respect
* Assist clients with brain injury using advocacy and problem-solving skills
* Work confidently within interdisciplinary teams and follow direction
