The Role
To safely and successfully deliver daily maintenance requirements plans / KPI’s in accordance with the company’s values, legislation, and HSEQ procedures. In addition, the Maintenance Fitter will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety, and quality programs relating to the maintenance functionality that are performed on site.
To be competent in the role, you will need:
* Volvo Equipment Experience – nominally rigid trucks
* SAP experience preferred
* Basic computer proficiency
* Heavy Rigid vehicle license (advantageous)
* Queensland police clearance (SSAN)

To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate:
* Commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture
* Workshop experience with heavy mobile fleet maintenance within a mining environment
* Demonstrated experience with European prime movers (Volvo advantageous)
* Mechanical trade certification (Dual trade automotive and auto electrical advantageous)
* Auto electrical experience backed with strong diagnostic aptitude
* Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry and control systems
* Ability to plan, manage, and control material, contractor, and employee resources
* CMMS experience, SAP advantageous
* Ability to obtain Queensland security clearance (SSAN)
* Hold HR licensing (advantageous)
* Excellent interpersonal skills including the capability to lead and work in a team environment
* Resourceful, self-motivated, and efficient
* Excellent problem-solving / troubleshooting skills, and ability to prioritise duties
* Strong focus and leadership on all facets of Health, Safety, and Environment

The Site
Dyno Nobel Curragh is situated near the town of Blackwater, Queensland. We are dedicated to delivering top-tier, 24-hour blast crew services to our valued customer.
Each of our four crews consists of approximately 20 skilled individuals, encompassing Shotfirers, MPU Operators, and Bench Assistants.
Safety takes precedence in all our operations and we approach our responsibilities with a strong sense of ownership, treating the business as if it were our own.
