Experienced Cut On-Site Carpenters Wanted – Apprentices & Qualified
Exact Carpentry Pty Ltd is seeking experienced cut‑on‑site carpenters, both apprentices and qualified professionals, to join our dynamic team around Sydney, NSW. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting carpentry and cabinetmaking projects, utilising your skills and expertise to contribute to the success of our growing business.
What you'll be doing
* Executing a range of cut‑on‑site carpentry on construction sites, including framing, installation, and finishing work
* Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient project completion
* Collaborating with the project manager, other tradespeople, and clients to coordinate work and address any issues that arise
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Providing mentorship and guidance to apprentice carpenters, sharing your knowledge and expertise
* Continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
What we're looking for
* A minimum of four years' experience as a qualified carpenter or a completed carpentry apprenticeship
* Qualified carpenter applicants must hold a minimum Certificate IV in carpentry
* Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions
* Excellent hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to perform physically demanding work
* A positive, team‑oriented attitude and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and clients
* A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders
