Our client is an international engineering and energy solutions provider supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across resources, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. With continued growth in the region, they are expanding their engineering capability and are looking to appoint a Lead Electrical Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical engineering activities across multiple projects
* Deliver and review electrical designs and technical documentation
* Manage engineering scope across the full project lifecycle
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project outcomes
* Support system analysis and performance assessments where required
* Ensure designs meet relevant standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
* Engage with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and suppliers
About You
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (postgraduate or chartered status highly regarded)
* ~10+ years' experience in power generation, mining, or heavy industrial environments
* Strong experience in HV systems, substation design, and earthing studies
* Proficiency in power system modelling tools (e.g. PowerFactory, CDEGS or similar)
* Proven ability to lead projects while remaining hands‐on technically
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
