Job Description
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Structures position to support Modification and Depot Maintenance for the P‐8A Poseidon Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS). A C‐class driver's licence is also required.

Responsibilities
* Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills – Structures in accordance with the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
* Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and procedures.
* Ensure all maintenance has been completed and that corrective actions satisfy task requirements.
* Carry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation.
* Use equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions consistent with safe and proper use.
Experience & Qualifications
* Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
* Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of NV1.
* Hold a C‐class driver's licence.
* Demonstrate sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework.
* Demonstrate a contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices.
* Prior maintenance experience in 737NG or derivative aircraft is desirable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate will be required to undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Negative Vetting One) sponsored by BDA. The candidate must be willing to disclose all relevant information and verify background information from birth to present.
