Customer Service Officer
Fletchers Supplies is seeking a friendly, reliable, and organised Customer Service Officer to join our office team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service via phone and email, while also supporting the day‑to‑day administrative needs of the office.
Fletchers Supplies is a locally owned and operated business supplying a wide range of products to trade and retail customers. We pride ourselves on providing quality products, efficient service, and knowledgeable support to help our customers find the right solutions for their needs. Our team values reliability, teamwork, and strong customer relationships.
This is a casual position offering approximately 20–28 hours per week. Standard hours are 8:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 1:00pm on Fridays. The days and hours can be flexible and adjusted to suit the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming customer phone calls in a professional and helpful manner
* Process customer orders accurately using our Inventory Management System
* Respond promptly to customer emails and enquiries via Outlook
* Provide product and order information to customers
* Assist with general administrative tasks including costings, scanning, photocopying, printing, and OH&S administration
* Maintain office supplies and ensure a tidy and organised office environment
* Participate in ongoing training and actively seek feedback to improve performance
Skills & Experience
* Positive attitude with a strong customer-focused approach
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
* Confident computer skills, including email and office-based software
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong numeracy skills, with an understanding of margins and percentages.
* Previous customer service or office administration experience is highly regarded
