Demonstrate high-level competencies in providing training and development initiatives within an ageing in place environment.Possess exceptional knowledge of contemporary ethical issues impacting older persons care and Gerontological nursing practice, including dementia and behavioral issues.Have extensive knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.Exhibit clinical expertise and a genuine passion to enhance opportunities and drive excellence in clinical care through learning and education, with the ability to develop training resources to support these initiatives.Proven experience in promoting and fostering self-initiative and development through innovative learning approaches.Experience in developing and delivering training via face-to-face and online learning platforms.Possess exceptional people skills that embrace diversity and promote respect, dignity, and privacy among groups and individuals.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including older persons and their families.Why you'll Love this Role:The Good Shepherd Home has been a leading provider of quality residential aged care services in Townsville for 50 years.
