Student Success Project Coordinator (Equity)

Position Details

* Salary: $122,852 to $134,385 per annum (HEW7) inclusive of base pay, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading.
* Type: Fixed‐term, full‐time for 6 months
* Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

Responsibilities

* Coordinate the investigation, design and development of a Student Success Advisory Model to be piloted in Semester 1, 2027.
* Focus on improving retention and success for priority learner cohorts by identifying early indicators of non‐engagement and enabling timely, proactive outreach.
* Work collaboratively with students, academic staff, professional staff, and external partners, maintaining a commitment to social justice and culturally safe practice.
* Interpret and evaluate literature reviews, analyse data, synthesise insights, and develop evidence‐based recommendations to achieve ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

* Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience in a field related to student engagement, transition and success.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating diverse student cohort supports, including equity groups.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, professional staff and external partners.
* Highly effective written, verbal and digital communication skills, including facilitation of workshops, management of interview processes, and preparation of high‐quality reports and presentations.
* Flexible approach to change, with the ability to respond to shifting project needs and emerging priorities.
* Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
