Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology
* Driver's licence
* Experience working in disability services and knowledge of NDIS processes is preferred but not required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a mobile healthcare team
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
* Develop personalised, participant-centred treatment plans in consultation with relevant support networks
* Provide speech therapy services in a range of community settings, including homes and schools
* Collaborate closely with other allied health professionals and support staff to ensure holistic care
* Monitor and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving needs and goals
* Educate and empower families and caregivers on communication strategies and exercises
* Maintain accurate and thorough records and documentation for reporting requirements
* Stay updated with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech therapy
