Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Corporate Tax Team. This is a key leadership role that involves collaborating with the leadership team to coordinate and manage the provision of taxation services for allocated corporate clients.
About the Role
This is a hybrid position that can be performed from any of our offices across Australia. The role requires working closely with senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
You will be responsible for delivering a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, while overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate and manage the provision of taxation services for allocated corporate clients.
* Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
* Work closely with senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system.
* Expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.
* Strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters.
* A CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters).
