Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit Analyst located in Longreach, QLD. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating financial data, preparing credit reports, analyzing risk levels, and providing recommendations on creditworthiness. This position involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure informed credit decisions align with company policies and objectives. The role also requires attention to compliance with relevant regulations and delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills, including financial data analysis and credit risk assessment
* Knowledge of financial reporting, credit scoring, and credit underwriting desired but not essential
* Proficient in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and relevant credit analysis tools
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
* Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in high-pressure situations
* Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* Prior experience in credit analysis or underwriting is highly desirable
* Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus
