Amin's Butcher and Grill is looking for a passionate, qualified Butcher to join our halal butcher shop. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure our customers receive the highest quality cuts, and work alongside a dedicated team to deliver exceptional products and services for our customers. With over 18 years experience in the meat industry, Amin's Butcher and Grill. offer a unique dining experience for our customers where they can select any of our halal, gourmet meat from our butcher shop and have it cooked to perfection in our adjoining restaurant. The successful applicant will be confident working autonomously and within our energetic and dedicated team, and have a real knack for customer service and providing quality butcher services.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Cut and prepare meat for customers
* Vacuum packing meat and product labelling
* Sausage manufacturing
* Creating high quality display windows
* Making personalised product recommendations to customers
* Providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications & experience
* A trade certificate (an essential)
* Certificate III Meat Processing required
* Previous experience working as a butcher in a fast paced environment
* Minimum 3-5 years of butchering experience required
* Experience sausage making
* Experience keeping displays organised, tidy and presentable
* Experience dealing with customers
* A desire to maintain high standards that reflect the values of our business and contribute to our success
* Australian citizenship or valid working rights required
