Partner - Finance, Operations, Risk & Business Support at Platinum Pacific Partners
Our client is a fast-growing Australian fund manager helping financial advisers deliver tailored investment solutions with expertise, technology, and operational support.
As their client base continues to grow, we are looking for an Account Manager to be the main point of contact for their financial advice partners. You'll collaborate across Sales, Investments and Implementation to deliver exceptional support, build strong relationships, and keep advisers informed and confident. This role is ideal for someone with experience in financial advice or wealth management who thrives on relationship management, operational excellence, and making a real impact. Please note, this is not a sales role.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management & Servicing - Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of advice practices, building strong, proactive relationships and ensuring advisers feel supported. Deliver regular check-ins, share portfolio insights, and identify opportunities for the broader team to add value.
* Implementation & Onboarding - Drive seamless onboarding of new clients, coordinating documentation, training, portal guidance, and client‐facing materials. Ensure a structured, consistent, and smooth transition for every advice partner.
* Internal Coordination & Execution - Work closely with Sales, Investments and Implementation to align messaging, share insights, and deliver targeted initiatives. Keep all internal stakeholders connected while maintaining a service‐first approach.
* Service Excellence & Continuous Improvement - Champion a best‐in‐class client service experience, constantly looking for ways to improve processes, elevate engagement, and deliver meaningful value. Track feedback and opportunities in CRM to ensure clear visibility and continuous improvement across the firm.
Ideal background
* 3–5+ years in financial advice, asset management, platforms, or client service within wealth management.
* Strong understanding of the advice landscape, including licensees, platforms and practice structures.
* Exceptional communication, relationship‐building, and collaboration skills.
* Highly proactive, organised, and process‐driven, thriving in a fast‐paced environment.
* Passionate about delivering best‐in‐market service and supporting adviser growth.
* A strong team player who brings energy, professionalism, and follow‐through.
