About the Role
The urban farmer will run daily operations of BSC Greenwood Farm, including animal care, food gardens and conservation areas.
* Undertake infrastructure development from fencing and enclosures to composting systems, hydroponics, irrigation and tool maintenance.
* Mentor students through hands-on learning projects.
* Collaborate with the local community on events and projects.
* Help prepare the farm for the delivery of accredited VET certificates such as Cert II in Horticulture.
This role involves working independently and efficiently in general maintenance, gardening tasks and repairs, including animal care.
Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential.
Experience in gardening, horticulture or urban agriculture and basic computer skills are also required.
