The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
From humble beginnings NPS has grown to a national organisation with circa 200 staff and significant growth plans to build on the strong foundations. At NPS we provide high-quality maintenance services for industry, government, and water authorities with significant growth in emerging areas of digital metering and IoT device management.
You will work out of our Ringwood office and generally meet the crew there in the morning before heading out to the job. Most of the work is in Metropolitan Melbourne area, however travel within the greater Melbourne area is required. Our clients are primarily large ultility companies and some private clients. You will work with an experienced civil crew and report into the Project Manager.
About The Role
•Perform plumbing work on civil construction sites, including installing and repairing water and sewage systems.
•Collaborate with the Civil team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
•Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
•Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
•Handle materials and equipment responsibly.
•Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
•Perform other duties as required by the project supervisor.
•Operate plant and equipment, including but not limited, to excavators, trucks and skid steer’s.
About You
You will be an experienced civil plumber, maybe you have finished your 4 years apprenticeship in a civil environment and looking for your next progressional step or maybe you are a seasoned civil plumber who is looking for a progressive and innovative bespoke plumbing company where you can develop your skills & experience further.
You will be a real team player, who takes pride in the work they do and a forward thinker who is a step ahead when it comes to problem solving.
You will also need to have;
•Demonstrated experience as a Civil Plumber.
•Valid plumbing certification/registration.
•Proficiency in operating various hand and power tools.
•Knowledge of plumbing systems.
•Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
•Strong work ethic and reliability.
•Excavator operator with the applicable tickets (preferred)
•Safety-conscious and aware of best practices.
•Truck license (desirable).
•Valid white card.
